Documents! Documents! Documents! Are Now Available on Our Website

In an on-going effort to provide you, the contractor, with everything you need to stay RRP compliant, we have recently put together a printable packet of documents to help keep you organized. The following required documentation is contained in this packet:

  • Pre-Renovation Education & Notification
  • LeadCheck® Test Kit Documentation Form
  • Non-Certified Workers Training Form
  • Lead-Safe Work Practices Check List
  • Cleaning Verification Form

According to the Renovation, Repair, & Painting Rule, contractors must keep records of their renovations in pre-1978 homes for three years.

Since the January 1st deadline has come and gone, it’s important to note that every renovator must now have completed the necessary certification course and have obtained their lead safe certification form. This form must be present during all renovations that take place in pre-1978 homes.

If you’re wondering where lead may be found in or around the home, take a peek at this old blog post, “Where is Lead Found?” And if you’re having some difficulty filling out the  LeadCheck® Test Kit Documentation Form refer to this post.
